Many patients have been told by other dental professionals that a tooth extraction is the only way of treating their case; however, Dr. Yacaman’s extensive research on the issue of root resorption as it was her thesis focus during her PHD program at U.S.C. It has taught her alternative treatments to losing the tooth. In many cases, these treatments have been invaluable to the patients overall health.
